Neale Cooke

I entered into the profession of Financial Planning in 2012 and began working for Eldon in 2014. I joined Eldon because of their distinctive approach to looking after clients. At Eldon, we put clients front and centre of all we do, and through our financial planning, we add real value to their lives. This is exactly why I initially wanted to be part of the financial planning profession.

In 2014 when Eldon moved to Newton Aycliffe, I found myself working in the same town in which I went to school – something that I never thought would happen when I made the 300+ mile journey south to begin my adult life at the University of Sussex!

I am now a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of our professional body the Personal Finance Society. Professionally, I have a particular interest in Ethical and Social Impact investing.

Away from work, I try (increasingly in vain) to keep fit, particularly with boxing training and running. However, as my age continues to tick up, my fondness for craft beer and my general gluttony mean that efforts in this respect are becoming increasingly laboured. My teenage son is now taller, certainly faster, and almost stronger, than me and hence he bullies me without mercy.
