Neale Cooke

After gaining a degree in theoretical physics from the University of Sussex I worked in management accounting and pension administration before joining the financial planning profession in 2012.

I joined Eldon because of their approach to looking after clients, which is to really help them and put their interests first, and to add real value to their lives. This is exactly why I initially wanted to be part of the financial planning profession.

It is important to me to have excellent technical knowledge and to demonstrate professionalism and expertise. I have completed my studies to the level of Chartered Financial Planner and recently qualified as a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. Over the past year I have become more involved in direct client contact, and I am enjoying working with both new and existing clients, establishing that all important relationship.

Away from work I love spending time with my 12 year old son. Additionally I enjoy boxing which has increased my fitness and improved my health. I also go running and previously completed the Great North Run – I may run a marathon one day. To the detriment of my sporting activities, I also like drinking craft beer!
