I graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2016 with a 2:1 degree in Accountancy and Finance. I grew up in the North East of England so moved home after University to kick start my career in finance.
I thoroughly enjoyed the first 18 months of my financial career as a paraplanner at another financial firm. I started studying straight away for my Diploma in Financial Planning which I have since achieved. However, as time went on I found that the company was not a right fit for me and I wanted to build my career somewhere that really focuses on the client outcome. That’s what drew me to Eldon.
Since starting at Eldon, I have found the days exciting and fulfilling. Each client is different and it’s wonderful getting to meet them and hearing their life stories. I have learned so much here and I hope to learn much more as I continue my journey to becoming a Chartered Financial Planner.
Outside of work hours, you may find me volunteering at a dog shelter, playing sports or ice skating. When I’m not feeling active and facing the outdoors, you’ll find me binge watching the latest ‘hot’ series on Netflix.
