Eldon has enjoyed raising funds for many different charities over the years, taking part in challenges such as a marathon walk, abseiling down a lighthouse and off the Forth Rail Bridge amongst other events.
In 2021, we decided it was time to create the Eldon Charitable Fund in conjunction with the Point North Community Foundation to drive positive change in our local community and build a sustainable future for generations to come.
Community Foundations support local projects on a range of issues, and Point North is part of an accredited network of Community Foundations, making them one of the UK’s largest grant-giving organisations.

Last year, the Foundation awarded £4.75 million in small grants that make a huge difference, thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, and Eldon!
Our Charitable Fund’s overall aim is to provide sustainable support to local charities that focus on financial education, financial planning, and debt management initiatives for adults and families who may not otherwise receive such help.
It is anticipated that grants awarded from our Fund will align with some of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) which the Point North Community Foundation aligns its grant making with.
These include:
- No Poverty (SDG#1)
- Quality Education (SDG#4)
- Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG#8)
- Reduced Inequalities (SDG#10)
- Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG#11)
We aim to grow the Charitable Fund through continued donations from the company and fund-raising activities.
